For Dornbracht, sieger design has developed a rain shower with integrated hair-and-head jet and a wide array of design options
Dornbracht rain showers produce a distinctive raindrop effect that mimics the sensation of natural rainfall on the skin. In 2022, Michael Sieger and his team designed a new shower system that augments this relaxing rain effect with a special jet for the hair and head. Two optional built-in lights provide an atmospheric glow and illuminate the shower area.
From the outer ring of the showerhead, water falls like raindrops, gently and soothingly enveloping the body without touching the face. Meanwhile, a more powerful jet from the centre is ideal for cleaning your hair and rinsing out shampoo.
To enhance the shower experience and the feel of the space, sieger design also incorporated two optional built-in lightsinto the new rain showers. The first gives off an atmospheric glow from around the edges of the showerhead. It’s complemented by a central spotlight that illuminates the shower area with no need for another light source. These two lights can be controlled using a smartphone app or voice control.
The rain showers are designed to integrate seamlessly into their surroundings with no visible screws. They can either be installed flush with the ceiling or mounted on a surface. The design team created both round and rectangular versions in a choice of 11 different finishes, ranging from brushed champagne to dark chrome.
