Stimulating sensations – the experience of showering with Sensory Sky
People have always been enthralled by the phenomena, idylls and energies associated with nature. Retreating into the countryside has been proven to result in both physical and psychological benefits. Created by sieger design and presented by Dornbracht in 2013, Sensory Sky from Dornbracht draws on nature as a place of relaxation and revitalisation – and brings the natural world into the home. This enables three pre-programmed shower choreographies with different types of rain, fog, light and fragrance.

What better example is there than nature when it comes to creating surroundings in which we can recuperate, and recharge our batteries? The more stressful our everyday lives, the more we crave these opportunities to reinvigorate ourselves. Sensory Sky creates an oasis for mind, body and spirit and stimulates the senses of touch, sight, smell and hearing. The stimuli found within the shower take the experience to a whole new level.
The wide rain panel has separate shower fields for head sprinkler, body sprinkler and rain curtain and a cold-water fog nozzle. Whilst integrated strip lights and spotlights create the right interplay of colours; pleasant, revitalising or relaxing fragrances stream out of scent modules. Depending on their mood, the user can choose from three preset choreographies – READJUST, RELEASE und REJOICE – or activate their own scenario manually. They do this using the self-explanatory display switch and dial Smart Tools, which were developed for the overarching Smart Water concept and which can be freely arranged in the shower.
The minimalist design strengthens the feeling of water falling naturally from the sky or from a rocky crevice. The ceiling module is flush-fitted and has a shadow gap all around. By virtue of their reduced appearance, all components can be easily mixed and matched with existing products, and harmoniously blend in with any private or public spa area.
